Beware: Bezel not included!

These new shaver heads replaced 2.5-year-old heads that were not shaving well anymore. The new heads do shave me closer and smoother, but the difference is not nearly as great as I expected. Even worse, the box contains only the actual shaver heads (foils and blades), and does not include the surrounding bezel (the plastic part that holds the three heads and itself flexes) -- even though the picture on the box and on the Web site shows the heads in the bezel. This was especially disappointing because my bezel broke after a year of use, and the local distributor refused to replace it under the 2-year warranty. I had to improvise a repair myself. This product should not be displayed and represented as including the bezel.

Better than factory original blades

There was a little confusion,in my mind, on if I was buying the heads only, and if new blades were included. It wasn't clear that you replace the heads & razors and that they are together in one pack. Once you have the package in your hand, it's obvious that you replace both. The new razors are giving me a closer shave than I got, when the shaver was new.

Good Blades

If you have an older Norelco Quadra these new blades work great. They actually seem to work better than the original blades. I tried one of the new Norelco shavers but didn't like it because it did not slide smoothly over my skin like the old Quadra. As long a my Quadra keeps working I'll stick with it and replace the blades every 18 mo. or so.
